The Shovel is essentially a showcase site, bringing you the best from the SD Conservative Blogosphere. Member blogs are encouraged to post items from their own sites that they think the rest of us might enjoy/need to see.
You will notice that the Shovel has comments turned off. We decided not to have any discussion on these pages, since it would take away from the discussions at the respective sites. It just wouldn’t make sense to have discussions of the same article in two places — and after all, we’re all about common sense, right?
